About Dr. Bains
Dr. Sandeep Bains was drawn to medicine from an early age, motivated by a desire to interact with others and help people on a daily basis. After getting her Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada Reno, she had the opportunity to shadow her father’s podiatrist, which caused her to fall in love with the practice. She enjoys the flexibility of podiatry, the hands-on nature of her care, and the range of diverse conditions she is able to treat.
Shadowing her father’s podiatrist directly influenced her decision to attend the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, where she earned her medical degree. She went on to complete her residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she provided wound care, worked with diabetic patients, and treated a host of less complex podiatric issues, such as plantar warts and heel pain. In the years that followed, Dr. Bains worked in a variety settings, including home care, nursing homes, and hospitals. She also works with patients of all ages, from young children to the elderly.
Thanks to her expertise and years of experience, Dr. Bains is proud of the immediate relief she can offer many patients. It brings her joy to be able to make a difference in the lives of her patients, and to see them leaving her office feeling better than when they came in.
I love to see immediate results. I feel best when I’ve made a real difference in someone’s life.
Outside of work, Dr. Bains’s primary hobby is taking care of her young son. She loves spending time with family and friends, exploring Chicago and checking out the summer festivals. She stays active too, biking and spending as much time as she can on the beach.
